Workshops – Yoga Strong

Are you intimidated by the aerial hammocks? We get it! It’s not easy to trust and to try something new! This workshop will ease you into the hammock and encourage going at your own pace to a compression free inversion in the aerial hammock! It feels so good! We know you will love it … We will also take deep stretches and an extended savasana in the air.

Do you want to see what all the yoga hype is about? Are you looking for a way to get your body and your mind fit and open to new possibilities? Do you have the feeling that yoga is exactly what you need in your life but would like to start with a strong understanding of what the practice of yoga is and why you should be doing it? If you answered yes to any of these questions this beginners series is just what you need.
The 5 week series will begin with a brief introduction to yoga then walk you through a typical yoga class. You will learn the yoga poses and how to flow through them along with proper alignment and modifications that work best for yourbody. At the end of the series you will feel comfortable to take classes on the weekly schedule. Questions are welcomed and encouraged throughout the classes. Class will be held in the non-heated room. Please wear clothes that make you feel comfortable and bring a yoga mat, water and your open mind to class. If you don’t have a mat there are mats available to

purchase or rent at the studio.

We have taken our kids yoga class and elevated it…literally! Expect the same fun and learning your child found in kids yoga class but we have added in some deep stretches and belly flying with our aerial hammocks. We keep it very safe with only 5 children per class. Come play!

Perfect for new moms (or dads) to tone up while spending quality time with their little ones and meet other new moms in the area. Every class will include play, singing,  work and relaxation for you and your bundle of joy. For serious yogis this will be a much lighter class and a way to be gentle to your body while you are easing back into exercise. Suitable for children up to 5 years.
